Witam Was. Mam pewien problem. Musze zainstalowac program Quartus II na swoim Ubuntu. Ściągnałem ze strony Quartusa wersje na linuxa. Mam problem z instalacją. Może wydać się Wam to śmieszne ale ja jestem totalnie zielony z linuxa :P

Tam pisze coś takiego:
1. Ensure there is sufficient free disk space to contain copies of the uncompressed versions of these files.
2. Download the software you want to install, such as the Quartus II software, Nios II EDS, and ModelSim-Altera software.
3. Extract the Quartus II software for Linux workstations using the following command:
tar xvf 91_quartus_free_linux.tar
4. Execute the 'quartus/linux/install' script (extracted relative to the current directory).
5. Follow the same procedure for each additional software, making sure to target the same base installation directory (e.g., /usr2/altera) each time so that each tool is at the same relative location.
6. Select the appropriate options in the installation script to install the software.

Czy ktoś mógłby mi krok po kroku powiedzieć jak to zainstalować? Ściągnąłem ten plik. Za pomocą komendy tar -xvf go rozpakowałem. i teraz przechodziłem do tego folderu i wpisywałem ./install. No ale pokazuje mi no such directory.

Wgl gdzie najlepiej umieścić ten folder co rozpakowałem? Słyszałem że najlepiej umieszczać w /usr/local/src/ . No ale może w tym przypadku gdzie indziej trzeba?

Okej dowiedziałem się jak. Brakowało CSH. Trzeba w Synapticu ściągnać csh i instalacja przebiega już bez problemu.
